Mini Honeymoon [versi broken english]

Last week we had a fun “mini honeymoon”. Yes…So-called “mini” bcoz the destination is nearby plus it takes 2nites only. Muahahha..very cost effective although we have a good bonus for the 1st quarter!

Friday
Start our journey before jumaat prayer so we can travel with musafir tickets. The road was clean & clear bcoz most of people still messing with their backlog. With brand new Garmin, we manage to reach Taiping almost after 1hour journey. Our budget accommodation at Seri Malaysia was easy to find so we can check-in on time. So far so good huh? =)

Seri Malaysia Taiping: a very simple hotel with so-so deco. Choose this hotel bcoz huby want pool-view room. Yes, we have it but it end up pool-view room with connection room. So unsecured! In future we will rather choose Taiping Golf Resort for sure.

Our lunch at warung located nearby t-junction infront of Penjara Taiping. Nice clean warung with scrumptious kampong delicacies. I choose deep fried keli with kurma gravy while hubby enjoying telur masin & fish curry. What a great lunch under the sun... =)

As plan earlier, we are going to Taman Tasik in the afternoon. Arrived oredi late around 1830...so nothing much to see and experience. Only got a few old couple doing “tai-chi”, some hawkers packed-up their things and 24/7 flowing giant water fountain sponsor by Spritzer. Nothing much to do, after several posing session we took-off….

I insist to have a steamboat for dinner. But after running to the moon and back we failed to find one. Even the canggih manggih E72 also cannot locate one. So frustrated…we end up having dinner at Restaurant Kamunting Timur. Very cozy, ample parking space, with a super duper express service. Our masam manis groupa can reach table around 10minutes only! Maybe because it’s not peak tym (di ambang maghrib). We are happily recommended this restaurant for friends out there. Food is tasty & service ok, cleanliness tiptop. Value for money.

Unfortunately, half way having our dinner...it’s started to rain. There goes our evening plan. We supposed to ride our train at night safari. Poor Amcar… missed to meet Mr Rhino and Mrs Leopard. Also tiny winy Civet. What a waste…so annoyed because Zoo Taiping just located about half kilometers from our hotel, but due to heavy rain we cannot make it. Aiyooo….

Seem like we will watching StarMovie all nite long…

Saturday
After having a warm buffet breakfast at Café Tasek Seri Bayu, I choose to hang by the pool. Hubby & Amcar enjoy splashing themselves. Fun to see Amcar with his big yellow pelampong!
Come on papa…to early to teach Amcar become Ming Ming the Duckling.

Noon, we pack-up our thing…our mission today: head up to Lost World Of Tambun! Yeehaaa~

This is a very first time for me & hubby, and of coz for Amcar looorr. Heard plenty of fun stuff there. Theme parks, petting zoo and lots more. Hopefully it is not overrated.
1.5hour journey bring us to magnificent limestone backdrop of LWOT. Arrived at 1500, cannot stand the heat so we cool down at nearby Petronas. Do our prayer first, have our outfit changed, prepared suitable gears and voila….we are ready!

Kick start our adventure at Water Park, but we refuse to wet out our outfits too early so we proceed to petting zoo. Hubby wants to try his luck out by feeding the raccoon (can see the pictures how mischief the raccoon) Muahahhaaha…..well done papa manage to feed ‘em without single bite!
Plenty of tame animals here suitable for kiddos. Bunny, tortoise, marmoset, parrot, monitor (this is not tame indeed!) and jungle cat also. Can see for yourselves how fun it is when we were in aviary…feeding colorful of bird with our bared hands~! Two thumbs up for petting zoo!

Next we ride a foc train to deathly tiger show. Hahaha..we are at the rite time & spot bcoz as we arrived, the show was just about to begin. The trainer daringly instructs 4 big healthy tiger to take their sit properly before he throws a fresh chicken drumstick straight to their mouth! What a show…phewww~!

Then we ride back to water park and and have our fun there till 1745. Well…for me it’s a worth 3hours adventure and sure we’ll comeback. Tata..Ruby the raccoon~

1830 drive down to Batu Gajah…
Opah…pls prepare a nice dinner: we’re terribly tired & hungry!
