Sabah State Museum, the attraction is the M'sia record of the biggest Bryde Whale skeletal in Asia. Besides comprises of the central exhibition hall and six other galleries. Sabah Islamic Civilisation Museum is an introduction to Islamic Civillisation, Islam in Nusantara, Islam in Malaysia, Islam in Sabah, The Prophet Muhammad Gallery - exhibiting the history of Muhammad's struggle to spread the Islamic faith. Kinda interesting for us, and don't forget RM2 entrance fees & no camera allowed! Present you: The Atkinson Clock Tower.
Built in 1903, this all-wood, no-nails structure was built in memory of Francis George Atkinson - the popular first District Officer of Jesselton during the British North Borneo Chartered Company Administration. Just a significant view of Sabah fisherman - resting in their cozy boat. Nice picture by D300. This state mosque is a masterpiece of architecture with its dove-grey walls and glittering majestic domes with gold inlay. Fyi, it takes half kilos from ladies ablution to ladies praying hall........phew~! The Kota Kinabalu City Mosque is built on a man-made lagoon, which creates a feeling that the mosque is floating above the water. Nice & very impressive architecture. The prayer room can accommodate up to 12k worshippers at one time. Taman Awam Teluk Likas, also known as Likas Bay Park is located along Tun Fuad Stephen road stretching from near Tanjung Lipat to Likas bay. Ample parking space for sunset lovers and also suitable for the anglers! Just another scenic view from one of the roundabout. We noticed most of the roundabout here are kinda "mini".... (chuckled) The Sabah Foundation, today operationally referred to as the Yayasan Sabah Group (YSG). Stand arrogantly as the tallest building in Sabah. Sure cannot compare to Komtar~
